Halloween 2013

It's been awhile since we posted, but there's been plenty going on...

Technically, I'm not wearing a costume - but Thing 3 is!

Thing 3 should arrive sometime around May 2.

The girls got wrapped up in a blanket together. Good times.

Ticket to Ride!

This is where Bailey spends much of sacrament meeting: in a vacant bishop's office eating cheese.

We took a trip with the Abels to Disneyland and had a killer time.

Morgan met her hero - Rapunzel. 

Morgan got a ride part of the day...

...and lasted until about 10:00 before crashing out. 

California Dreaming

Keith took Morgan to the best California has to offer: killer mountains and awesome beaches - all in the same day. They hiked to the peak of Mount Islip, then came to the beach with the rest of the Abels.

Bailey's First Steps

After her Sunday nap, Bailey decided to take her first steps. We threw together this video of clips of her as she was learning to walk. Enjoy!

Camping

We spent the weekend camping at Coldbrook Campground in the Angeles National Forest. They don't call it Coldbrook for nothing!

Morgan's Second Birthday!

We went to Palm Desert and played at the date festival and around Grandma and Grandpa Abel's home.


Uncle Ryan brought a vegan carrot cake which was perfect for a small, but perfectly done, last minute Abel birthday celebration.















Keith had to work his first Sunday which just so happened to be on Morgans birthday! Grandma, Grandpa, and Drammy came to celebrate, they cooked dinner and played with Morgan.


We saved Keith some of the delicious dinner that Gma and Gpa Collins made (grilled roast beef sandwiches with cute heart shaped carrots that Mary made)









Alas the popcorn cake, a Collins family Birthday tradition that we are trying to adopt....super yummy!

Thank you to all who made Morgan feel EXTRA special on her second birthday! (Thank you collins uncles and aunts for the sweet phone calls!) The Happy Birthday song is now her favorite (at least for the next few days or so)

Welcome 2013!

We've been rather busy lately, especially Keith as work has really picked up now that he's licensed and the holidays are over. We still manage to max out our weekends with fun stuff. Here's an overview:

Always a pleasure when Gpa Collins comes to visit.

Keith had a blast skiing the slopes of Big Bear with the Abel men.

I'm learning to cut hair. Keith graciously allowed me to practice. 

Morgan partied it up with her friends at a bounce house party place. 

Parents were encouraged to bounce too!
